December Daily Tags- SALE!!

I feel like shouting MIDNIGHT MADNESS from the roof tops!

Less than 24 hours until Christmas Eve! I have so much to do, gift wrapping, we have yet to decorate, and put up our tree and I'm still making gifts for the kids. I have to make gifts for two other children too, by tomorrow!!

Not to mention the tons of packages we're expecting still. People are emailing and calling to say that they've sent packages via USPS, Fed-Ex, and UPS. Got package number five from gramma yesterday. Where am I storing it all? In the girls bathroom, in the tub. I hope they don't whip the curtain open. They'll have a lot to feast their eyes on!

The December Daily tags are now 50% off! That means they are $4.00! I've changed the pay pal button to reflect the sale. I've made tons of sentiments to go with the numbers too! You'll definitely get your monies worth!

I've finally got a great printer! Which means I can print from home! I can't wait to start USING the tags!

Carla made these using some of the sentiments:

I have slowly began to make my album. I've saved some fun odds and ends from around the house, events we went to, and the package from special holiday foods we purchased. I can't wait to start working on it!

My girl LaVerne also picked up some tags- you can check out her blog for the post.

Today, I'm working on a felt board and felt pieces and laundry! EXCITING!

Have a great day, look towards felt board/pieces tonight or tomorrow!

As promised!

Here are two projects done with the Christmas tags!

Here is a card- I altered the color of the tag, and added part of a Christmas song to it. You can easily alter the color of any element on the tag to match anything on your page, or in a photo. Also, the font can be changed.

When working with ink, I'm a mess! I did end up getting some on the tag. Had the tags been printed on card stock instead of regular paper, I would have been able to use an eraser to remove the ink. However, I didn't want to take any chances. NOTE TO SELF: Print on card stock, always!

You can see I changed the photo of the circle to match the button. I also used the same ink on the Christmas tree and the tag.

Another thing I have been dying to do... a snow globe! Poor Alex, has been washing and cleaning baby jars for the last two weeks now. I think I have finally acquired enough to make one for everyone in my family, and then some!

Anyways, I took the number 15 tag and cut off the one! I love the curly look of the five, and since there are five people in our family, I thought it was well suited! So this is what it looks like!

Don't you just love the number five! I covered it with some Glossy Accents, and then sprinkled a little bit of Martha Stewart's glitter on top of the glossy accents.

Then I got smart! I used the index print from the pictures I had ordered, and cut out my three favorite one of each of the kids! Then I used glue dots to secure them in place.

Applied glossy accents... (still wet, but it DOES dry CLEAR!)

And voila!

I have to cover the lid, but you get the jest! To cover the lid you could use paper, or for a more polished look you could use some batting and fabric. Use pinking sheers to cut the ends so they don't fray. OR you can use some fray check.

It's not exactly as I want it so I will make another one tomorrow using a different jar as you cannot see the photos of the kids with the lines in the baby food jar. I think all of Alex's hard work cleaning the jars will have to be used for a different cause, glass candy maybe?

Mmmm... Can't wait to make candy!

Well I'm off to bed, feeling alright. Though I haven't been talking much as I feel like I have lock jaw. My inner ear is starting to hurt as well. No fever however, haven't lost my appetite, darn it! My jaw really doesn't even hurt... it just feels... tight. Though I swear I'm more swollen today then I was yesterday. The house is quiet with out my talking, laughing, and being crazy with the girls. They haven't had any singing all day either. My poor girls are deprived of my voice! And they are probably enjoying every second of it!

I can't get enough!

I can not get enough of this patterned paper made by Basic Grey. It's called Flannel Shirt, and it's part of the Dasher collection. Which has been discontinued. Sorry!

Anyways, I made seven cards and one tag (it was made to use as a bookmark) out of a 12X12 piece of paper. How, I have no idea!

I'm stalking stores online to see where I can buy it. If you like it, I suggest you do the same!

Anyways, on with the bookmark!

Here's the front:

Here's the back: (I took a hammer and put ink on it, and rubbed it on the raised parts of the bookmark.)

I've found myself using the flowers an awful lot. I kind of like them! Thanks Sue!

Please don't forget to check out the Christmas tags!

Mono; note to self and a peek! (Tags)

I'm a "spit cleaner," meaning, I do the horrible, lick the finger, and wipe my kids face! It works great when I don't have a wipe and we're getting ready to take a picture. Especially one I have to pay for!

Which reminds me of another do NOT... finger licking. Yeah... that's hard. However, I'm being groomed for... better behavior? (haha!)

No sharing drinks, which really sucked today at Sonic when the girls got a Watermelon Slush, and I couldn't try it! Or when Alex wanted to try my miserable concoction of blue coconut and cranberry!

I'm still miserable. My kids are sad that I don't give them spit baths and wet slobbery kisses, and I'm just... miserable.

On a different note, I have a "share." I haven't finished what I've been working on because I have a crappy printer. So I have to wait till Alex gets home tomorrow to really SHARE what I've been doing! :)

Yes, I even pulled out my sewing machine for this one! She was a little dusty, and needed some tender love and care before she let me use her. She has been neglected for... three years now, at least. Poor baby! But she came through, as she always does. I bought my Janome ("Ja-know-me so well" is her alter ego!) 10 years ago, and she still works like a champ! (She is my sewing machine, in case you missed it!)

I want to revisit the tags, and I will a few times over the next few days, until Christmas at least. I PROMISE I will have projects tomorrow! (After I get my printed papers.)

December daily, number tags!

I have decided to partake in Ali Edwards, December Daily mini album.

This year is going to be an important one for us since Alex will get his US Citizenship. It's kind of bitter sweet as I enjoy telling people my husband is a Canadian Citizen.

Someone made some tags for Ali's album, and when I looked at them, they were pixelated... big time. I was really disappointed because they are pretty sweet tags. So I enlisted some help.

I "hired" someone to make the tags for me. Now, I'm going to sell the tags, for $8.00- Let me tell you why before you totally write me off!

(Click on the photo to make it bigger.)

They are completely alterable, if you have Adobe Illustrator! I will email you the tags in a format that will allow you to change several things: the color of the background and numbers, the font, and even rearrange the numbers. You will also be able to 'hide' the numbers so you just print a plain tag, or you can type a sentiment on the tag. The images can also be enlarged without losing quality. So you can achieve ANY size you want!

In light of Christmas, a portion of the proceeds will go to Toys For Tots.

Payments will be accepted via PayPal, to hopefully, make purchasing a little easier! The same button can also be found on the top right of my blog if you wish to purchase at a later point.

Paypal will email me when a payment has been made, and with in an hour (providing it's not midnight central time!), I will email you the tags!

I'll have some projects and cards tomorrow, so check back!

Thank you!!
