Problem: The lid wouldn't go on. Darn it.
In making some chicken salad a few days ago, I emptied the jar of Miracle Whip. Which you know, are NEW jars with a bigger opening. I quickly washed it, dried it, and threw my markers in it, and wouldn't you know!! PERFECT FIT!
I encourage you to REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE. As lame as it sounds, why spend money to store something that could easily be stored in something you have already spent money on? I can't wait to buy another jar of Miracle Whip so I can store my pencils too!!
I use these ones for everything- partially because we have SO many of them! We buy two each week, so we end up with eight containers a month. They are great for the girls pencils, crayons, little barbie pieces, for "pretend" play, puzzle pieces, banging on... putting beans in and shaking... anything really. I just love them. I also use them to mail stuff to people. It's something crazy to get in the mail, and it's fun to go to your mail box and wonder what the heck!
Also great when mailing things that are semi fragile, or small pictures. I've mailed fabric, candy, stickers, scrapbooking stuff... and the list goes on.
I don't mind sharing, let me know if you'd like some. I believe they are $4.80 to mail- as is!
