Monday I received $20 cash from Maryann (some random person I met at the Salvation Army).
Today, Friday, we (Alex the kids and I) went to Saltgrass with intentions of using the gift card Alex received last week. The day has been less then perfect. Everyone is eager to get into the house, and not enjoying the process of packing/moving. The kids colored all over their new bed with crayon, it'll clean up, but it's still frustrating. We're just ready to move.
We sat down to dinner, ordered our beverages (strawberry lemonade) and meals. Both girls had to 'go potty' so I took the girls while Alex finished eating. When I got back to the table the waiter came, I asked him to box my salad as well as the girls dinner. The waiter did that, came back to our table and said that we were all set. He said the couple that was sitting at the table next to us had paid for our dinner, and tipped the waiter.
I was shocked. I said: "No, wait. What? We didn't even talk to them... they didn't talk to us." I'm still blown away. I feel like something bad is going to happen with all the good things that have happen to us.
I'm still in disbelief. I mean... wow. THANK YOU!! Thank you for dinner, if by some crazy chance you're reading this right now!
