Welcome.

Today is Obama's first day as President. While everyone may not agree with the things Bush has done, people should remember WE voted him in. WE wanted him as President for another term. I can not understand all the bashing going on. He is done, over, and moved on. Focus your attention on Obama, because he needs our help to help ourselves. ;)

The girls and I watched the Inauguration yesterday. Though they didn't really understand what was happening. They clapped when others did, and danced to the music.

Before the Inauguration, Gabriella burned her finger on the iron. She spent four hours with her finger in a cup of ice water. (The cup says: "Daddy's Girl" on it, she wished he was home.) When Alex got home he said he believes she has 2nd degree burns. Poor girl. After four hours stuck at the table, I took the cup away and held her while she screamed and cried. An hour later the pain went away and she "forgot" all about it. She continues to say "I won't touch the iron, ever again." While shaking her head back and fourth.

I said the next "bag" I make will have a pocket, and it does!

I started the morning at six am, sewing. I'm addicted. It goes it spurts!

I'm off to make Valentine's Day cards! Happy hump day!
