I have everyone's Valentine's Day gifts ready to go, and now, I've got the cards ready too! Super easy to make. And actually, I used a digital kit called "Love Shack" from Shabby Miss Jenn's Designs. It's on sale right now for $6.39, can't go wrong!
The heart shape is a Cosmo Cricket chip board button, I traced it onto the pattern paper after I printed it. Scrap That Smile has them on sale right now for $2.99 (originally $6.99) they are totally worth it! Did I mention how incredibly fast Scrap That Smile ships?
I got the "skittles" in a rak, and the flowers I've had for eons!
Stamp: Daisy Bucket Birdie. It's $2.25 at Ritz. I used Tim Holtz's Walnut Stain Distress Ink to stamp the birdie!
Took me all of thirty minutes to make all eight cards. They look a little drab, but they are absolutely adorable! They kind of have a "vintage" look to them.
Edit: I forgot to mention, I used my Epson Artisan 800 to print the above pages! (I'm extremely low on ink, if you click on the picture to make it bigger, you'll see the quality isn't any less!)
Oh! I almost forgot! I'm sure not everyone will find this humorous, however, Alex and I did. Gabriella refers to herself in third person, "Gabbi-baya." Emmelia calls herself Gabriella (Gabbi-baya). Alex sat down on the couch last night and asked Gabriella what her name is, what Emmelia's name is, etc. Alex asked Gabriella what his name is, she said "Daddy". Alex said, "No, what does mommy call me?" Gabriella instantly replied: "Jack ass." I kid you not Alex and I about came unglued! She just said it so... casually!!
