And they say it doesn't snow here...

You know what I can not figure out... why people in Texas have a hard time saying IT'S SNOWING!!

Our mail person has been coming very late in the evening, so I've not been getting our mail until 6 pm. On my walk to the mailbox today I thought I felt a wee bit of snow, however, couldn't actually SEE it.

I thought I'd check the weather before bed, and this is what I read:

A STRONG UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS NORTH TEXAS TONIGHT... THEN PUSH EAST AWAY FROM THE AREA ON WEDNESDAY. LIFT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL BRING A CHANCE OF A LIGHT MIXED BAG OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST HALF OF NORTH TEXAS THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. UP TO ONE HALF INCH OF ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE... MAINLY ON GRASSY AREAS. ROADS SHOULD REMAIN CLEAR OF ANY ICE OR SNOW. ALL PRECIPITATION SHOULD END BEFORE MIDDAY WEDNESDAY MORNING ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST.

WTF is: "a light mixed bag of wintery precipitation" SNOW!! It's SNOW SNOW SNOW!!

Right now the temp is 34, but feels like 22. I moved to Texas so I could wear flip flops year round. Now I have to dig out my winter coat. What gives!
