Christmas count down day ONE!

I was up until two am making these lovely magnets.

I have never really been a fan of "Me and My Big Ideas" but when I saw their Christmas line of stickers, I fell in love. They are really cute, and totally alterable!









I got a ton done rockin' out on my ipod touch to Pandora's holiday music! I just wish it wasn't an internet based radio... or should I wish for an iphone? Hm...



Anyways, I altered some of the stickers above. I added magnets to all of them, and added some inked paper to some so the magnet wouldn't show. (Like the stockings.) I added some "glitz" to Rudolph's nose... some fragments to a few for fun. I had some of the pattern paper left over so I added that to some fragments and put the "Fa" and "la"s on the fragments. I love the way they turned out! I used glossy accents on anything that has glitter on it (to lock it in place). The "tis the season to be jolly" was on a stripped background which I did not care for with that, so I took that apart and used it separately. I believe that sums up the alterations I made.











This is what the cookie sheet looks like... so far. I have added paper, mod podge (to protect the paper from little hands), and threw in a chipboard element which I covered with perfect medium, then perfect pearls.





I'm pretty happy with it so far. I'm taking my time to ensure I don't burn myself out, and just do it... to get it done!

I have some fun elements to add... I believe this will be unlike anything anyone else has created. I started out wanting to make an advent calendar, but I like the idea of a count down better!

I'm off to add some more to it since I'm feeling the jo-jo of my mo!
