All of my lovers slept through the night. Which means, Parker and I were wide awake at six am. The girls, to my surprise, slept until seven.
Anyways, this Christmas list is going to gramma, so I made her a card last night to send with the list. I've got a few other things to mail her as well. I picked up a magnetic "Naughty/Nice" pad of paper! She'll enjoy that. She's so easy to please. She's always very grateful for whatever I mail, it doesn't matter how big or small the package!
In making our list I asked Gabriella what she thinks would be some good ideas for Parker, in response, she says: "That sounds really good." I said, "I didn't even say anything! Do you speak English, or do you speak another language?" She says, "Yup!" lol.
Anyways, here the card that's going to Grams. More to come tomorrow!
Todays pet peeve, people who do not acknowledge something has been received. If I take time out of my busy day to make you something, I want to know when you get it, and that you liked it. (Or hated it!) Do you know how long it takes me to go to the post office? To get three kids ready to go, just to drive five minutes. It takes me longer to get the kids unloaded then it does for them to check my package, label it, and put it in the right area to send off. If it's a card I send, and it's something I've hand made, I expect a response as well. My brother, who is 9, calls to thank me for everything I send him. It doesn't matter if I've printed photos of his Soccer game and mailed them to him, made him something, or bought him a magazine. He is so appreciative. There is one thing each and every single one of my family members can say about me... I am VERY appreciative of everything sent our way. I always call to let the person know we/I have received the package, letter, card, whatever it may be. And I ALWAYS send out a thank you card. It might be a week or two after the fact, however, I always send something in return. I can not stand when people complain about their gifts not being recognized when they don't recognize things sent to them

Beautiful card!! I love that flower!! :) And i'll 'ditto' your post!! I send so much stuff out, usually RAK's cards, blog candy, etc.. and probably hear from about 1/2. Makes ya not want to send to that person again huh?
